Payal is the Hindi word for anklet, and kolusu is the Tamil equivalent. They refer to the same piece of jewellery — a decorative chain or ornament worn around the ankle. At Chaneira Jewels, we use all three terms because our customers search for anklets across languages. Our entire collection is available in both traditional payal styles and contemporary anklet designs.

To maintain the shine of your 92.5 silver anklets, store them in the pouch or box they arrive in when not wearing. Wipe with a soft silver cloth after each use. Avoid exposure to perfumes, lotions and chlorinated water directly on the silver. If your anklet develops a natural oxidised patina over time, this can be gently removed with a silver polishing cloth or a mild silver cleaning solution.
